I wore many hats for Alex and Teddy’s wedding at Elizabeth Farms, including planner, stylist, florist, and bridesmaid! Alex is my sister-in-law, and it was an honor to guide her and her husband through the planning process. It was a true family affair since my husband was also a bridal party member, and our son was the ring bearer! We enjoyed an incredible day with loved ones celebrating the love of Alex and Teddy, surrounded by the beauty of Elizabeth Farms. I’m thrilled to be sharing the highlights!

Designing an Elizabeth Farms Wedding

Alex loves wildflowers and macrame decor, so those elements acted as the starting point for my design. My husband built a gorgeous wooden arbor for the couple’s ceremony, and I sourced a macrame backdrop that gave it a boho feel. Meanwhile, I designed every floral element for the day with my cousin and business partner Elena, with whom I run my second business, Willow Weddings. Local wildflowers in shades of ivory, coral, and peach adorned either side of the arbor and added a pop of color. In addition, Alex’s bouquet incorporated local blooms, including garden roses, dahlias, and cosmos. The bouquet’s warm, peachy palette was perfect for an early fall wedding!

As Alex and Teddy’s full-service planner, I assisted with all aspects of their Elizabeth Farms wedding design. So, I also accompanied Alex to In White in the heart of downtown Lancaster to find the perfect wedding dress to match her florals. We found a romantic, off-the-shoulder dress with delicate floral vine appliqués covering the bodice and skirt. It was love at first sight for Alex, and I knew the dress would look stunning next to her wildflower bouquet!

From helping you decide what to wear for your engagement photos to selecting a color palette, I’ll ensure perfect planning of every detail. We’ll organize and fine-tune your vision through mood boards, vendor consultations, stationery selection, attire selection, hair and makeup design, floral design, linen selection, and more! When things don’t go as planned, I’ll troubleshoot as necessary so Plan B looks as much like Plan A as possible. I take my catchphrase, “It’s all in the details,” seriously, and I’ll be there to serve you however I can!
